The error problem is caused by software conflicts in your programs or by files that have become corrupt in software applications. The error can also be caused by unknown issues with your PC’s operating system.
Open Task Manager -> Click on the Processes tab and then choose Show processes from all users.
Click on the Image Name list and this will sort the list in alphabetical order making it easier for you to find the files you need to locate.
Once the process is finished you should find two files in the list called msiexec.exe.
Click on the first msiexec.exe file and then choose End Process on the lower part of the Task Manager window. Do the same for second msiexec.exe
Try to install updates now.
