Error Code 80072ee2

  1. Open regedit with Administrator privileges.

  1. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU and delete the registry key “UseWUServer” 
  2. Reboot the machine. 
  3. Check for updates again.
